Brazil: July exports of orange juice are the highest for the month in three years

In July, Brazilian orange juice shipments registered the best result for the month since 2023, which is good news for the domestic export sector, given that global demand remains weak.

In the first month of shipments of the 2026/27 season, the volume equivalent to concentrate juice exported by Brazil totaled 75.2 thousand tons, up 7.3 % from July 2025, according to Secex data.

It is worth noting that, in July last year, the 2025/26 season was still at an early stage and there was a small volume of fruit available for processing, amid a later harvest. Now, with juice inventories already replenished and a greater availability of good-quality fruit, processors are able to ship higher volumes even with international demand still weak.

Revenue, however, dropped 37.5 % in the annual comparison, to USD 179.8 million, while the average price fell 41.7 %, to USD 2,390.75 per ton – Secex data. This movement reflects the easing of prices in the international market, after two years of sharp increases.
