This year’s Food ingredients Europe co-located with Health ingredients Europe will be organised in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standard, developed in response to COVID-19. As one of the world’s leading events organiser, Informa Markets will employ enhanced measures to ensure the highest levels of hygiene and safety. Informa Markets is confident that the show will take place as planned from 1-3 December at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, with strong support from the Fi and Hi Europe communities.

AllSecure is an industry-wide standard that has been developed in close cooperation with partners, such as the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), venues, suppliers and relevant authorities for exhibition organisers to adopt and provide reassurance to attendees that events are being held in a safe and controlled environment. For Fi Europe co-located with Hi Europe, in particular, the Informa Markets team is in close contact and constant consultation with the City of Frankfurt, the State of Hesse and Messe Frankfurt.

Informa AllSecure is how the industry-wide standard will be adopted at Informa events and features some 35 detailed protocols, covering Cleaning & Hygiene Countermeasures (prior to stand build, again before event opening and during the duration of the event), Phyiscal Distancing following the Crowd Density Standards as set by the State of Hesse, Communication across all channels and platforms, and Protect and Detect in collaboration with the local health authorities.

Under the brand of Master Builders Solutions®, BASF presents the extra heavy-duty Ucrete flooring systems range at Anuga FoodTec trade fair in Cologne till March 23, 2018 in hall 09.1, booth number E040.

Ucrete is a highly durable surface protection system based on a unique polyurethane resin technology, which meets and exceeds the special requirements of the food and beverage industry, and is also perfectly suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical industry applications thanks to its chemical, mechanical and thermal shock resistance.

Ucrete flooring systems have been meeting the highest requirements of occupational safety and hygiene since 50 years as they exhibit bacterial cleanability comparable to stainless steel and do not support bacterial growth. Depending on the layer thickness, they can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 130 °C, being ideal for use in cool rooms and refrigerated environments. They are extremely impact resistant and offer highly effective anti-slip properties. The anti-slip class of the flooring can be adjusted to meet specific customers’ requirements from smooth to highly slip resistant.

Ucrete is non solvent-based and rapid curing, a key advantage especially in case of refurbishing work. Since Ucrete floor systems are also odorless and do not taint, even during application, they can be laid while normal production continues minimizing downtimes. Ucrete complies with the requirements of AgBB (German committee for the health assessment of construction products) and is certified with the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold standard for low emissions.

Ucrete creates not only a safe but also a very pleasant working environment thanks to the seamless finish of the floor which is available in seven different colors.
