Global Closure Systems Cap Sets The Gold Standard

GCS has developed an exclusive bi-injected flip-top cap with a tamper-evident device for Ponti, the Italian leader in the production of vinegars, vinegar-based condiments  and antipasti.

Manufactured by Zeller Plastik Italy, one of the GCS’ 21 factories, the Phebus push-on cap for PCO 1881 bottle has a raised directional spout that makes it ideal for pouring thinner liquids such as Ponti’s range of vinegar-based condiments.

The combination of the gold-colored lid and transparent base creates a distinctive on-shelf appearance. Made from a special polypropylene random copolymer resin, the surface finish of the closure appears glossy and highly polished.

A tamper-evident band, which the consumer has to break before being able to pour from the bottle or container, ensures product security in addition to the outer sleeve.

Phebus is manufactured exclusively for Ponti in Italy but can be supplied to non- Italian markets worldwide.

Phebus is currently available with the PCO 1881 standard neck finish but it is also suitable for use with the PCO 28 standard neck finish.
