CIRI MAM (Interdepartmental Centre for Industrial Research in Advanced Mechanics and Materials) of the University of Bologna will take part in the event to be held from the 11th to the 14th of June to present innovative instruments for the study of materials and foods.

CIRI MAM, the Interdepartmental Centre of the University of Bologna will be one of the key players of the special section of Packology dedicated to Italian and foreign research centres that study and research innovations in the field of packaging and processing.

In a dedicated space, the Interdepartmental Centre of the University of Bologna will display an FTIR-Raman spectroscopy microscope for performing the physical and chemical analysis of any polymer material sample, cold plasma for surface treatment as well as surface and food sterilisation, a nanofibre electrospinning demonstration unit – an extremely interesting technology of the future for the packaging industry – and a robotic hand for grasping "difficult" objects.

The trade event organized by UCIMA and Rimini Fiera will in fact offer exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to come in contact and learn about the results of the latest research carried out by the top universities and receive incitement and ideas to implement industrially.

In fact, for 4 days, Packology will be the meeting place for industry professionals who work at every level of the packaging and processing sector.
