The IFT Nonthermal Processing Division, in conjunction with Effost, is pleased to continue its annual workshops series in 2011.

DIL (German Institute of Food Technologies) will host the 2011 NPD Workshop. DIL is a private, non-profit food research organization with 140 members of staff and an annual turnover of 10 M$. It is located in the northwest of Germany, which is intensively used for cultivation and stock farming and the 200 billion $ German food industry is largely located in this area. DIL has a membership of more than 130 companies (domestic and international) and serves as the key provider for knowledge, innovation and R&D services. DIL also coordinates a number of large European projects and its scientists are actively involved in numerous international networks.

The conference will be held October, 12th to 14th, which allows a combined visit to the Anuga Food Fair, taking place October 8th to 12th in Cologne, Germany. Anuga is one of the world’s most important food and beverage trade fairs and enjoys high regard and acceptance from exhibitors and visitors alike. During Anuga DIL will organize a guided fair tour to important players on German and European food market.
