Döhler At FIE 2011 In Paris: Innovative Ingredients, Ingredient Systems & Integrated Solutions

No innovation without continuous evolution! This is the theme running through Döhler’s presentation of an integrated product portfolio at FIE in Paris (29.11.-1.12.2011). As a global producer, marketer and provider of natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry, Döhler understands this evolution to mean not just continuously refining its own products and technologies. Rather, this central theme describes the goal of constantly optimising products together with the customer and additionally opening up new market potential with innovations. The results of this development: natural solutions for sugar reduction – like SRT or MultiSweet® Stevia – a broad portfolio of flavours and flavour extracts, natural colours, innovative solutions for 100 % fruit, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage bases that will be showcased at the Döhler stand.

MultiSweet® Stevia – natural sweetening with a perfect taste

Light – but as natural as possible – is the wish of many consumers when it comes to food and beverages.  In this connection, “stevia” has recently been on everyone’s lips in the true sense of the phrase. Under the MultiSweet® Stevia brand Döhler has developed a sweetener with outstanding sensory properties. Sweetness Improving Technology (SIT) ensures an especially near-sugar taste. For the claim “with no added sugar”, MultiSweet® Stevia can be combined with MultiSweet® Fruit, a range of partially decoloured or partially deacidified apple juice concentrates.

Natural flavours & colours

A product’s appealing visual appearance ensures the initial purchase – its good taste a repeat purchase. For products with both a compelling look and taste, Döhler will be presenting an array of natural colours and flavours in Paris. The portfolio for exceptional enjoyment ranges from high-quality fruit flavours and extracts, mint flavours and white flavours to new citrus emulsions. In addition, Döhler will be unveiling innovative flavour technologies for natural and sensorially optimal calorie reduction. Döhler will be demonstrating its expertise in the field of food colours with colouring concentrates, natural colour formulations, anthocyanins and crystal-clear emulsions.

Strong Tea Infusions – for authentic tea enjoyment

Less sweet, but natural and authentic tea taste – this is what many consumers want when it comes to tea beverages. In association with Plantextrakt, Döhler is now offering a portfolio of directly brewed, strong tea infusions. And Döhler has designed the tea beverages to match. The concepts on the basis of the strong tea infusions range from brewed iced teas and premium brewed iced teas to true teas – the purest form of tea enjoyment.

Expertise all around fruit

The demand for fresh fruit and fruit raw materials has risen globally in recent years. To enable its customers to enjoy reliable raw materials supply, Döhler is constantly developing new solution channels. These include, on the one hand, opening up new raw materials sources and fruit varieties. On the other, Döhler makes more of the fruit: with the aid of cutting-edge technologies, all valuable fruit components are extracted down to the smallest detail and the very last drop. At FIE Döhler will be presenting a broad product portfolio of fruit juices, fruit juice concentrates, purées and fruit juice blends alongside fruity product applications.

Döhler malt bases for refreshing malt beverages

In 2010 the market volume of malt beverages worldwide climbed to some 1.7 billion litres. To meet heightened demand for malt extracts and malt bases formulated to customer-specific needs, in the same year Döhler commissioned a further plant equipped with state-of-the-art technology, in Neuss, Germany. In addition to fresh product concepts, Döhler will be using FIE to showcase innovative malt bases. The product portfolio also permits breweries the cost-efficient production of malt beverages. Döhler opens up simple entry into this exciting beverage category to soft-drinks manufacturers.

Alcoholic bases for boundless opportunities

Whether limes, cream or fruit liqueurs, flavoured spirits or innovative ciders: Döhler provides the full range of ingredients und ingredient systems for these products from one source. At FIE the DöhlerGroup will be presenting alcohol-stable milk and cream bases, alcoholic cider and fruit wine bases, as well as alcohol-stable fruit juice concentrates, purées and flavours. This portfolio gives Döhler customers undreamt-of flexibility in the development and production of alcohol-containing beverages.
