As a global producer, marketer and provider of technology-based natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry, Döhler is presenting many new developments inproducts and product applications at the Brau Beviale.
 
Innovative Beverage Bases
At the Brau Beviale 2010, the DöhlerGroup is focussing on fermented and non-fermented beverage bases that make new and distinct beverage concepts possible. Here, Döhler is utilizing its comprehensive know-how not just in the area of organic and fermentation technologies, but also in the technology platforms extraction and emulsion. The broad portfolio of Döhler beverage bases includes acid-stable dairy and soy bases, tea and coffee bases, and cereal and malt bases, and ranges from fermented, non-alcoholic bases to alcoholic beverage bases.
 
Flavours and Emulsions
Döhler has built up a considerable degree of competence in premium flavours, natural flavour extracts and emulsions over the past decades. Distillation, extraction and separation are important technologies in the production of premium FTNF and FTNJ flavours. In addition, the company offers a wide range of flavour and colour emulsions as well as very efficient cloud emulsions.
 
Stevia-based sweeteners
Döhler and the market leader for Stevia, PureCircle, have entered into a global strategic partnership for Stevia. Key for superior natural low cal food and beverage formulations are PureCircle’s vast portfolio of high-purity Stevia ingredients combined with DöhlerGroup´s strong sweetening flavour and application know-how. Döhler is presenting the entire spectrum of beverages with Stevia at the Brau Beviale. Döhler presents innovative product applications for all segments of the beverage market under the motto “WE BRING IDEAS TO LIFE.”
 
Döhler is presenting innovations such as “Brewed Lemonades” and modern malt-based beverages, which meet current trends and appeal to new target groups. Döhler is introducing new product applications in the beer mixes segment. Domestic fruits, higher fruit juice content and new concepts will breathe new life into the beer mixes segment. Döhler will be offering samples of breakfast snacks containing fruit pieces, seasonal smoothies, fruit splashes and nectars as well as new cocktail mixes in the fruit-based beverage segment.
 
Döhler will be presenting a new generation of still drinks, which offer previously unknown taste experiences thanks to natural flavours and fruit ingredients such as fruit cells and fruit pieces. For the CSD segment, Döhler has formulated a complete product spectrum, which ranges from natural carbonates to the new sweetening solutions with Stevia. Flavoured water, modern Aqua Plus concepts, including vitamin water, aqua tea with fruit juice and tea extracts are the newest applications in the water plus beverages category.
 
The market for Energy Drinks is divided into Shots, New Taste, Juicy Energy and Coffee Energy. Döhler will be introducing attractive new product applications for this rapidly growing market at the Brau Beviale. Döhler customers in the wine, cider and spirits industry get everything from a single source: tailor-made product concepts, alcoholic fermented bases such as wine bases and alcohol-stable cream bases, fruit juices and flavours. The Sprizz Aperol concept is just one of the wide range of new ideas being presented at the Döhler stand.
 
Döhler Microsafety Design
Under the Döhler Microsafety Design (DMD®) brand, Döhler offers microbiologically selective nutrient media for almost all sectors of the beverage industry and breweries. They are easy to use and achieve fast and above all reliable results. At Brau Beviale, Döhler will be presenting the new TransFast Gel and will be offering well-founded advice on all questions concerning quality assurance and the use of DMD® nutrient media.
