Brazilian orange juice makers Citrosuco and Citrovita merge to form the biggest orange juice producer in the world with sales topping US $ 1.1 billion, according to reports.
Citrovita, owned by The Votorantim group, and Citrosuco, controlled by Fischer group, will merge their businesses, with each firm taking a 50% stake in the new company. The combined company have six factories in Brazil and one in the United States, eight shipping terminals at ports and eight ships.
